Is this new trend of Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In, etc) the vehicle chosen to rise to a new level of consciousness, like the 2012 prophecies were announcing?
Last year I was kindly invited by the people of Huliq.com (Google’s News Dept.) to write an exclusive article for them. Being the fact that in those day I was observing quite a ‘run talk’ (I think I’ve just invented a new term) where everybody is talking and running ’scare’ about something which in this case was the December 2012 ’Dooming’ prophecies (the movie was about to come out, History Channel was running special shows on the subject, etc) I decided to give my personal input on the matter which I was studying and analyzing for a while… (you can read my original article HERE).
A few hours ago I participated in a conference call between Rich German and Gary Vaynerchuk. One of the last things shared by Gary about this new social media trend, was that is helping us connect a lot easier and a lot quicker between each other.
Certainly, it’s moving us toward doing business for the people, instead of using ‘money’ as the only motivation. We truly grow by cultivating relationships and by providing VALUE to all those involved, after all money is just a reward we receive for the service rendered. The greater the service, the bigger the reward, quite simple; 2+2=4 .
Why do you think you do what you do?
No, no; behind all those reasons you just thought about, the true answer can be found. You do what you do because of the emotion it will produce within you, nothing more, nothing less. We do and act as we do, seeking emotions. And the highest emotion of all is…yeap; you’ve got it, Love!
It’s funny, I’ve just realized that my previous post here, was about the exact opposite emotion to love, and that is Fear. You’ll do well to take a look at the video about Fear down below, very illustrating!
Fear is the energy which contracts, closes down, draws in, runs, hides, hoards, harms…Love is the energy which expands, opens up, sends out, stays, reveals, shares, heals…
Fear wraps our bodies in clothing, love allows us to stand naked. Fear clings to and clutches all that we have, love gives all that we have away. Fear holds close, love holds dear. Fear grasps, love lets go…
We do all that we do for the emotion we will feel in return. You drive the car you drive because of the way that ‘thing’ will make you feel. We truly are ‘emotion seekers’. After all, this is our only and true reason to be here in the first place, and the ONLY thing we’ll be allowed to take with us in that last-minute of that last breath…Like a dear parent asks his kid after his first birthday party: …’Did you have a good time’?
The 2012 prophecy truly talks about a ’shift’ in human consciousness, just the next step in our human evolution. To unite ourselves as a specie, a big human family. I don’t know what you think about it, but thinking in working for the people instead of doing it to covet cash seems a pretty good beginning to me.
I don’t think the Mayans would’ve known enough to predict the new evolution happening through Facebook, right?
Definitly, I think a lot of things are changing in the way we perceive some things, and it’s beginning to permeate into the way we even do business between ourselves. And these, my friend, are VERY good news for us all!
